THIS is an animation I started a little while ago. (I've been trying to get used to animating in flash for so long LOL)
You all know how adorable *joodlez's characters are, yeah? Well I couldn't help but use them in one of my attempts to learn Flash They're all round and adorable, so they weren't too hard to animate.
The animation
The premise, was to have her playing a game of hide n' seek with her brother (Nocty). I stopped just before a cute montage of failed seeking on Rel's part. I wonder what I was on when I was working on this.
Eventually I do plan to come back and complete this one, so keep an eye on this one. Instead of uploading a new post, I'm just going to update this one.
This is the rough version of this animation. Each frame will be be re-lined to prepare for color.
Much of the background is also missing
Screen transitions still need to be edited, and additions need to be made for better story telling
Feel free to comment as always. I might not get to every comment, but I read every single one, and it's welcome here.
Hi I have couple of questions about this animation and I hope you could answer them since I'm highly interested in animation. Before you made this rough, did you make a sketch animation (using lines and circles etc) or did you starting doing this rough without the sketch. Also, Before she opened box she had a nice 3D motion, may I ask the steps you used to achieve that? Was it difficult?
Other than that, I think this animation is very well done and smooth! I really love how did you construct the expression.
Nothing but hard time right here, I commend your dedication OvJC, I've attempted to use flash a few times (though not for line animation like this, but layered stuffs) and it always gives me trouble compounded on trouble, on a banana peel. It's just bad. Stellar work sir, I know it's old, but still.
Realy amazing hard work!

You can pretty much tell how much work was done here.
Good work.
